February 8, 2023: Savannah, GA 31406 The South Effingham Mustangs the host Benedictine Cadets soccer squad by a margin of 3-0 in Wednesday's non-league match.
The Mustangs now sport a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Brunswick for a 6A Area 2 match on Tuesday, February 14. South Effingham will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 5-3 league loss to Lakeside (Evans, GA). The Pirates record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Benedictine drops to 1-2 on the season. The Cadets travel to Islands (Savannah, GA) to encounter the Sharks in a 4A Area 3 match on Thursday, February 9. The Sharks come into the match with a record of 4-0. Islands won 5-0 in their recent non-league match against Calvary Day (Savannah, GA)
