New Jersey High School Basketball - Willingboro nips Delran
February 8, 2024: Willingboro, NJ 08046 Willingboro Chimeras (Willingboro, NJ) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Delran Bears (Delran, NJ), 62-55 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Willingboro upgrades its record to 10-12 on the campaign. The Chimeras travel to Northern Burlington (Columbus, NJ) to play the Greyhounds in a Burlco - Freedom bout on Monday, February 12. The Greyhounds come into the bout with a record of 5-17.
Next up, the Bears play the Lenape Indians (Medford, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 10. Delran will attempt to upgrade on its 9-13 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 19-4 record after their 61-43 non-league win over Rancocas Valley (Mt. Holly, NJ).
