Oregon High School Basketball - Knappa tops Gaston
February 8, 2024: Gaston, OR 97119 Knappa Loggers (Astoria, OR) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Gaston Greyhounds (Gaston, OR), 58-44 in a league bout.
With the victory, Knappa upgrades its record to 14-12 on the campaign. The Loggers host Gaston (Gaston, OR) to play the Greyhounds in a 2A Northwest bout on Monday, February 12. The Greyhounds come into the bout with a record of 16-12. Gaston lost 85-35 in their recent league bout against Portland Christian (Portland, OR)
Next up, the Greyhounds play the Portland Christian Royals (Portland, OR) in a 2A Northwest bout, on Friday, February 9. Gaston will attempt to upgrade on its 16-11 season record. The Royals come into the bout with a 24-1 record after their 72-27 league win over Clatskanie (Clatskanie, OR).
