Michigan High School Basketball - Mason County Central overwhelms Holton
February 8, 2024: Scottville, MI 49454 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Mason County Central Spartans (Scottville, MI) and the visiting Holton Red Devils (Holton, MI), saw Mason County Central's basketball squad wallop Holton by a tally of 81-22.
With the victory, Mason County Central improves its record to 9-10 on the campaign. The Spartans host Covenant Christian (Grand Rapids, MI) to confront the Chargers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Chargers come into the challenge with a record of 11-8. Covenant Christian lost 61-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Byron Center (Byron Center, MI)
Next up, the Red Devils confront the Hesperia Panthers (Hesperia, MI) in a Western Michigan Lakes - Rivers challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. Holton will attempt to improve on its 3-16 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 6-12 record after their 74-32 league loss to North Muskegon (North Muskegon, MI).
