Hope Blue Wave (Providence, RI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Tiverton Tigers (Tiverton, RI), 49-36 in a league bout.

With the win, Hope upgrades its record to 4-15 on the season. The Blue Wave host Burrillville (Harrisville, RI) to play the Broncos in a Division 2 bout on Wednesday, February 14. The Broncos go into the bout with a record of 14-6. Burrillville lost 56-44 in their recent league bout against Rogers (Newport, RI)

Next up, the Tigers play the Cranston West Falcons (Cranston, RI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Tiverton will attempt to upgrade on its 4-16 season record.
