Colorado High School Basketball - Lutheran can't hold off Lewis-Palmer
February 8, 2024: Monument, CO 80132 The Lewis-Palmer Rangers basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Lutheran Lions to 56 in the Rangers league triumph on Thursday.
The Rangers now sport a 16-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Discovery Canyon for a 5A/4A Pikes Peak contest on Tuesday, February 13. Lewis-Palmer will battle a Thunder team coming off a 61-49 league win over Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado Springs, CO). The Thunder record now stands at 15-6.
The Lions (18-3) will now prepare for their contest against Palmer Ridge (Monument, CO). The Bears enter the 5A/4A Pikes Peak contest with a 8-13 record. In their last contest, Palmer Ridge nudged Air Academy (US Air Force Academy, CO), 60-56, in a league contest.
