The Buchtel Griffins basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Barberton Magics to 30 in the Griffins non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Griffins now sport a 11-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Field for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 21.

The Magics (2-19) will now prepare for their contest against East (Akron, OH). The Dragons enter the non-league contest with a 1-17 record. In their last contest, East was routed by Washington (Massillon, OH), 84-15, in a non-league contest.
