Illinois High School Basketball - Beecher overwhelms Illinois Lutheran
February 8, 2024: Beecher, IL 60401 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Beecher Bobcats (Beecher, IL) and the visiting Illinois Lutheran Chargers (Crete, IL), saw Beecher's basketball squad wallop Illinois Lutheran by a tally of 49-24.
With the victory, Beecher improves its record to 16-13 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Momence (Momence, IL) to confront the Momence Athletics in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 10. The Momence Athletics come into the challenge with a record of 11-7. Momence won 37-28 in their recent league challenge against Grant Park (Grant Park, IL)
Next up, the Chargers confront the Morgan Park Academy Warriors (Chicago, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. Illinois Lutheran will attempt to improve on its 4-19 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 24-4 record after their 54-49 non-league win over North Shore Country Day (Winnetka, IL).
