Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Girard ripped by Northwestern

The Northwestern Wildcats basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Girard Yellowjackets to 25 in the Wildcats league triumph on Thursday.

The Wildcats now sport a 17-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Seneca for a District 10 Region 3 contest on Monday, February 12. Northwestern will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 49-36 non-league loss to North East (North East, PA). The Bobcats record now stands at 9-6.

The Yellowjackets (2-14) will now prepare for their contest against Iroquois (Erie, PA). The Braves enter the District 10 Region 3 contest with a 0-17 record. In their last contest, Iroquois was routed by Eisenhower (Russell, PA), 63-30, in a league contest.
