Virginia High School Basketball - Saint Gertrude falls to Spirit HomeSchool
February 8, 2024: Richmond, VA In Thursday's non-league match, the host Spirit HomeSchool Warhawks basketball team scored a good 41-26 triumph over the Saint Gertrude Gators.
In their next game, the Warhawks meet the Central Virginia HomeSchool Athletic Association Patriots (Amelia Court House, VA) in a VHSAA match, on Saturday, February 10. Spirit HomeSchool will attempt to better on its 11-6 season record. The Patriots enter the match with a 12-11 record after their 82-37 non-league loss to St. Anne's-Belfield (Charlottesville, VA).
With the defeat, Saint Gertrude moves to 10-13 on the year. The Gators travel to St. Margaret's (Tappahannock, VA) to meet the Scotties in a LIS match on Friday, February 9. The Scotties enter the match with a record of 12-11. St. Margaret's won 68-55 in their recent league match against Trinity Episcopal (Richmond, VA)
