Kentucky High School Basketball - Blazer bests Fleming County
February 8, 2025: Ashland, KY 41102 The Blazer Tomcats (Ashland, KY) basketball toppled the visiting Fleming County Panthers (Flemingsburg, KY), 69-59 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Tomcats now possess a 17-7 record. They play next when they host Rowan County for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 11. Blazer will play a Vikings team coming off a 62-30 non-league win over West Carter (Olive Hill, KY). The Vikings record now stands at 11-12.
With the loss, Fleming County falls to 16-9 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Boyd County (Ashland, KY) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 11. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 20-8. Boyd County won 88-52 in their recent non-league bout against Russell (Russell, KY)
