February 8, 2025: Georgetown, DE 19947 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Sussex Central Golden Knights (Georgetown, DE) and the visiting Delmarva Christian Royals (Georgetown, DE), observed Sussex Central's basketball team overcome Delmarva Christian by a margin of 73-65.
The Golden Knights (10-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Caesar Rodney (Camden, DE). The Riders come into the Henlopen - Northern challenge with a 5-13 record. In their last challenge, Caesar Rodney dropped by Dover (Dover, DE), 87-48, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Royals battle the Worcester Prep Mallards (Berlin, MD) in a Eastern Shore challenge, on Monday, February 10. Delmarva Christian will attempt to better on its 15-5 season record. The Mallards come into the challenge with a 8-2 record after their 52-35 league win over Salisbury Christian (Salisbury, MD).
