Kansas High School Basketball - Meade thwarts Elkhart
February 8, 2025: Meade, KS 67864 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Meade Buffaloes (Meade, KS) and the visiting Elkhart Wildcats (Elkhart, KS), observed Meade's basketball team top Elkhart by a tally of 52-38.
The Buffaloes now possess a 11-5 record. They play next when they host South Central for a Southern Plains-Iroquois bout on Friday, February 14. Meade will play a Timberwolves team coming off a 53-51 league loss to South Gray (Montezuma, KS). The Timberwolves record now stands at 15-2.
With the loss, Elkhart falls to 7-10 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Turpin (Turpin, OK) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 11. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 16-2. Turpin won 72-45 in their recent non-league bout against Goodwell (Goodwell, OK)
