Missouri High School Basketball - Jefferson City victorious over Hazelwood East
February 8, 2025: Jefferson City, MO 65101 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Jefferson City Jays basketball team scored a good 76-64 triumph over the Hazelwood East Spartans.
The Jays (15-5) will now prepare for their contest against Hickman (Columbia, MO). The Kewpies go into the Central Missouri contest with a 16-5 record. In their last contest, Hickman topped Riverview Gardens (St. Louis, MO), 59-53, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Spartans battle the Hazelwood Central Hawks (Florissant, MO) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 10. Hazelwood East will attempt to better on its 16-7 season record. The Hawks go into the contest with a 10-9 record after their 57-51 league loss to Kirkwood (Kirkwood, MO).
