February 8, 2025: Jenkins, KY 41537 The Jenkins Cavaliers (Jenkins, KY) basketball toppled the visiting Jackson County Generals (McKee, KY), 59-42 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Cavaliers now possess a 20-4 record. They play next when they host Hurley for a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 12. Jenkins will play a Rebels team coming off a 63-21 non-league win over Wise County Christian (Wise, VA). The Rebels record now stands at 8-11.
With the loss, Jackson County falls to 7-12 on the campaign. The Generals host Prestonsburg (Prestonsburg, KY) to play the Blackcats in a non-league bout on Monday, February 10. The Blackcats go into the bout with a record of 9-11. Prestonsburg lost 78-74 in their recent non-league bout against Shelby Valley (Pikeville, KY)
