The Tri-Unity Christian Defenders basketball team scored 50 points and limited the visiting Marion Eagles to 29 in the Defenders non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Defenders now have a 15-2 record. They play next when they host Grand River Prep for a Alliance game on Tuesday, February 11.

With the loss, Marion falls to 13-6 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Mason County Eastern (Custer, MI) to confront the Cardinals in a West Michigan D game on Tuesday, February 11. The Cardinals go into the game with a record of 4-14. Mason County Eastern lost 76-34 in their recent league game against Pentwater (Pentwater, MI)
