Metropolitan Learning Center Dragons (Bloomfield, CT) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host University Hawks (Hartford, CT), 44-38 in a league challenge.

The Dragons (2-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Weaver (Hartford, CT). The Beavers come into the Capitol Region challenge with a 8-8 record. In their last challenge, Weaver edged Hartford Public (Hartford, CT), 74-69, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Hawks encounter the Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy Phoenix (Hartford, CT) in a Capitol Region challenge, on Monday, February 10. University will attempt to improve on its 0-10 season record.
