With the victory, Steele Canyon advances its record to 16-9 on the year. The Cougars host El Capitan (Lakeside, CA) to meet the Vaqueros in a Grossmont - Hills battle on Tuesday, February 11. The Vaqueros enter the battle with a record of 7-19. El Capitan won 60-43 in their recent non-league battle against Rock Academy (San Diego, CA)
The Crusaders now own a 8-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Olympian for a non-league battle on Monday, February 10. St. Joseph Academy will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 65-58 non-league loss to Carlsbad (Carlsbad, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 20-5.
