Oklahoma High School Basketball - Hominy holds off Varnum
February 8, 2025: Seminole, OK 74868 The Hominy Bucks basketball squad scored 44 points and held the host Varnum Whippets to 43 in the Bucks non-league victory on Saturday.
With the victory, Hominy upgrades its record to 16-6 on the year. The Bucks travel to Oilton (Oilton, OK) to face the Panthers in a Central 7 match on Tuesday, February 11. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 1-24. Oilton lost 92-24 in their recent league match against Davenport (Davenport, OK)
The Whippets now sport a 14-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wilson-Henryetta for a non-league match on Saturday, February 8.
