New Mexico High School Basketball - Loving overwhelmed by Mesilla Valley Christian School

In Saturday's non-league test, the Mesilla Valley Christian School SonBlazers (Las Cruces, NM) basketball squad trounced the host Loving Falcons (Loving, NM), by a final score of 58-18.

Next, the SonBlazers clash with the Cloudcroft Bears (Cloudcroft, NM) in a 2A District 3 test, on Tuesday, February 11. Mesilla Valley Christian School will attempt to upgrade on its 15-3 season record. The Bears come into the test with a 6-15 record after their 52-37 league loss to Mescalero Apache (Mescalero, NM).

The Falcons (3-16) will now prepare for their test against Jal (Jal, NM). The Panthers come into the 2A District 4 test with a 9-13 record. In their last test, Jal was overwhelmed by Tatum (Tatum, NM), 61-20, in a league test.
