South Dakota High School Basketball - Vermillion sneaks past Sisseton
February 8, 2025: Sisseton, SD 57262 The Vermillion Tanagers (Vermillion, SD) basketball edged the host Sisseton Redmen (Sisseton, SD), 47-46 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Tanagers now possess a 15-3 record. They play next when they host Dakota Valley for a A Region 4 bout on Tuesday, February 11. Vermillion will play a Panthers team coming off a 63-55 non-league win over Hamlin (Hayti, SD). The Panthers record now stands at 16-1.
With the loss, Sisseton falls to 10-7 on the campaign. The Redmen travel to Milbank (Milbank, SD) to play the Bulldogs in a A Region 1 bout on Tuesday, February 11. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 9-7. Milbank lost 52-47 in their recent non-league bout against Canton (Canton, SD)
