South Dakota High School Basketball - Viborg/Hurley sneaks past St. Mary
February 8, 2025: Dell Rapids, SD 57022 The Viborg/Hurley Cougars (Viborg, SD) basketball edged the host St. Mary Cardinals (Dell Rapids, SD), 43-41 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Cougars now possess a 11-6 record. They play next when they travel to Parker for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 11. Viborg/Hurley will play a Pheasants team coming off a 54-22 non-league loss to Lennox (Lennox, SD). The Pheasants record now stands at 0-15.
With the loss, St. Mary falls to 13-4 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Arlington (Arlington, SD) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Monday, February 10. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 11-6. Arlington lost 44-36 in their recent non-league bout against Great Plains Lutheran (Watertown, SD)
