February 8, 2025: Wyandotte, MI 48192 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Troy Colts (Troy, MI) and the host Roosevelt Bears (Wyandotte, MI), witnessed Troy's ice hockey team hold off Roosevelt by a score of 1-0.
The Colts (14-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Utica (Utica, MI). The Chieftains come into the non-league challenge with a 10-11 record. In their last challenge, Utica got by Anchor Bay (Fair Haven, MI), 4-2, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Bears battle the Cabrini Monarchs (Allen Park, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 12. Roosevelt will attempt to better on its 12-12 season record. The Monarchs come into the challenge with a 2-21 record after their 12-5 non-league loss to Carlson (Gibraltar, MI).
