The Discovery Canyon Thunder basketball squad (Colorado Springs, CO), was outscored 51-39 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Mesa Ridge Grizzlies (Colorado Springs, CO)

With the victory, Mesa Ridge advances its record to 14-0 on the year. The Grizzlies travel to Coronado (Colorado Springs, CO) to meet the Cougars in a battle on Friday, February 14. The Cougars enter the battle with a record of 0-2.

The Thunder now own a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lutheran for a battle on Tuesday, February 11. Discovery Canyon will meet a Lions squad coming off a 75-67 non-league win over Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado Springs, CO). The Lions record now stands at 10-1.
