Georgia High School Soccer - Lanier held off by Peachtree Ridge
February 9, 2021: Suwanee, GA 30024 The Peachtree Ridge Lions held off the visiting Lanier Longhorns soccer squad by a margin of 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league match.
The Lions now sport a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Wesleyan for a non-league match on Thursday, February 11. Peachtree Ridge will encounter a Wolves squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Tucker (Tucker, GA). The Wolves record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Lanier drops to 0-2 on the season. The Longhorns host Central Gwinnett (Lawrenceville, GA) to encounter the Black Knights in a AAAAAA Region 8 match on Tuesday, March 2. The Black Knights come into the match with a record of 2-0.
