Lewis County Minutemen (Weston, WV) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Philip Barbour Colts (Philippi, WV), 58-52 in a league bout.

With the win, Lewis County upgrades its record to 5-12 on the season. The Minutemen host Richwood (Richwood, WV) to play the Lumberjacks in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 16. The Lumberjacks go into the bout with a record of 3-10.

Next up, the Colts play the Grafton Bearcats (Grafton, WV) in a Big Ten bout, on Friday, February 11. Philip Barbour will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Bearcats go into the bout with a 11-5 record after their 65-44 league win over Liberty (Clarksburg, WV).
