The R.J. Reynolds Demons basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Parkland Mustangs to 38 in the Demons league triumph on Wednesday.

The Demons now sport a 12-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Reagan for a 4A Conference 56 contest on Friday, February 11. R.J. Reynolds will battle a Raiders team coming off a 48-46 league win over Mount Tabor (Winston-Salem, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 14-8.

The Mustangs (2-20) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Tabor (Winston-Salem, NC). The Spartans enter the 4A Conference 56 contest with a 14-8 record. In their last contest, Mount Tabor was routed by Reagan (Pfafftown, NC), 48-46, in a league contest.
