The Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA) basketball knocked off the host Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA), 72-63 in Wednesday's league test.

The Bruins (26-0) will now prepare for their test against Rio Linda (Rio Linda, CA). The Knights go into the Foothill Valley test with a 11-12 record. In their last test, Rio Linda went down by Oakmont (Roseville, CA), 79-57, in a league test.
