Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Hollidaysburg nips Altoona
February 9, 2022: Hollidaysburg, PA 16648 Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers (Hollidaysburg, PA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Altoona Mountain Lions (Altoona, PA), 50-43 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Hollidaysburg upgrades its record to 19-0 on the campaign. The Golden Tigers travel to Penns Valley Area (Spring Mills, PA) to play the Rams in a Mountain bout on Friday, February 11. The Rams come into the bout with a record of 8-12. Penns Valley Area lost 56-51 in their recent non-league bout against Southern Huntingdon County (Three Springs, PA)
Next up, the Mountain Lions play the Williamsport Millionaires (Williamsport, PA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 12. Altoona will attempt to upgrade on its 13-7 season record. The Millionaires come into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 64-41 non-league loss to North Schuylkill (Ashland, PA).
