February 9, 2022: McKeesport, PA 15133 In Wednesday's non-league match, the host South Allegheny Gladiators basketball team scored a tight 43-42 triumph over the Clairton Bears.
In their next game, the Gladiators meet the East Allegheny Wild Cats (North Versailles, PA) in a WPIAL 3A 3 match, on Thursday, February 10. South Allegheny will attempt to move on its 8-11 season record. The Wild Cats enter the match with a 2-7 record after their 55-18 league loss to Avonworth (Pittsburgh, PA).
With the defeat, Clairton moves to 13-3 on the year. The Bears travel to Leechburg (Leechburg, PA) to meet the Blue Devils in a WPIAL 1A 3 match on Friday, February 11. The Blue Devils enter the match with a record of 0-17. Leechburg lost 57-30 in their recent league match against St. Joseph (Natrona Heights, PA)
