February 9, 2022: Columbus, GA 31903 The Russell County Warriors soccer team scored 6 points and limited the host Spencer Greenwave to 3 in the Warriors non-league victory on Wednesday.
Next, the Warriors face the Eufaula Tigers (Eufaula, AL) in a 6A Area 4 contest, on Tuesday, February 15. Russell County will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 1-1 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to Carroll (Ozark, AL).
The Greenwave now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shaw for a AAAA Region 2 contest on Thursday, February 17.
