Baconton Charter Blazers (Baconton, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Fitzgerald Purple Hurricane (Fitzgerald, GA), 9-4 in a non-league test.

With the win, Baconton Charter upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Blazers travel to Worth County (Sylvester, GA) to battle the Rams in a non-league test on Monday, February 13. The Rams come into the test with a record of 1-0. Worth County won 12-0 in their recent non-league test against Monroe (Albany, GA)
