The Cape Hatteras Hurricanes tipped the host Mattamuskeet Lakers basketball team by a final score of 42-37 in Thursday's league game.

In their next game, the Hurricanes face the Ocracoke Dolphins (Ocracoke, NC) in a 1A Conference 1 game, on Tuesday, February 14. Cape Hatteras will attempt to move on its 6-10 season record.
