The Sylva Bay Academy Saints basketball team scored 40 points and held the host DeSoto Thunderbirds to 21 in the Saints non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Saints now sport a 15-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tunica Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, February 10. Sylva Bay Academy will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 63-46 non-league win over North Sunflower Academy (Drew, MS). The Blue Devils record now stands at 1-4.
