Washington High School Basketball - Lakeside nips Nathan Hale
February 9, 2023: Seattle, WA 98125 Lakeside Lions (Seattle, WA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Nathan Hale Raiders (Seattle, WA), 51-50 in a league bout.
With the victory, Lakeside upgrades its record to 13-10 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Seattle Prep (Seattle, WA) to play the Panthers in a 3A Metro bout on Saturday, February 11. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 5-16. Seattle Prep lost 69-59 in their recent league bout against Rainier Beach (Seattle, WA)
Next up, the Raiders play the O'Dea Fighting Irish (Seattle, WA) in a 3A Metro bout, on Saturday, February 11. Nathan Hale will attempt to upgrade on its 20-2 season record. The Fighting Irish come into the bout with a 15-7 record after their 71-55 league loss to Garfield (Seattle, WA).
