Maryland High School Basketball - Mount Airy Christian Academy crushes Maryland School for the Deaf
February 9, 2023: Frederick, MD 21701 Mount Airy Christian Academy (Mount Airy, MD) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Maryland School for the Deaf Orioles (Frederick, MD), 60-39 in a league bout.
With the win, Mount Airy Christian Academy upgrades its record to 13-7 on the season. The travel to Grace Academy (Hagerstown, MD) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Monday, February 13. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 7-9. Grace Academy won 70-62 in their recent league bout against Cumberland Valley Christian (Chambersburg, PA)
Next up, the Orioles play the Rockbridge Academy Scots (Millersville, MD) in a Maryland Independent Conference bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Maryland School for the Deaf will attempt to upgrade on its 15-8 season record. The Scots go into the bout with a 4-14 record after their 47-41 non-league loss to Don Bosco Cristo Rey (Takoma Park, MD).
