Massachusetts High School Basketball - North Reading topped by Swampscott
February 9, 2023: Swampscott, MA 01907 The Swampscott Big Blue basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the visiting North Reading Hornets to 58 in the Big Blue non-league victory on Thursday.
The Big Blue now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Winthrop for a Northeastern - Small contest on Friday, February 10. Swampscott will battle a Vikings team coming off a 60-52 league win over Danvers (Danvers, MA). The Vikings record now stands at 6-10.
The Hornets (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Lynnfield (Lynnfield, MA). The Pioneers come into the Cape Ann - Large contest with a 12-6 record. In their last contest, Lynnfield prevailed over Ipswich (Ipswich, MA), 54-33, in a non-league contest.
