February 9, 2023: Kinnelon, NJ 07405 The Kinnelon Colts (Kinnelon, NJ) basketball felled the visiting Cedar Grove Panthers (Cedar Grove, NJ), 58-41 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Colts (5-15) will now prepare for their test against Whippany Park (Whippany, NJ). The Wildcats go into the Freelance test with a 2-16 record. In their last test, Whippany Park was beaten by Academy of St. Elizabeth (Convent Station, NJ), 45-27, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 5-13 record. They play next when they travel to West Caldwell Tech for a non-league test on Saturday, February 11. Cedar Grove will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 55-15 non-league loss to Irvington (Irvington, NJ). The Eagles record now stands at 0-5.
