Maryland High School Basketball - Wicomico overwhelms Kent County
February 9, 2023: Worton, MD 21678 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Wicomico Indians (Salisbury, MD) and the host Kent County Trojans (Worton, MD), saw Wicomico's basketball squad wallop Kent County by a tally of 59-20.
With the victory, Wicomico improves its record to 18-3 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Bennett (Salisbury, MD) to confront the Clippers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 15. The Clippers come into the challenge with a record of 0-7.
Next up, the Trojans confront the Kent Island Buccaneers (Stevensville, MD) in a Bayside - North challenge, on Tuesday, February 14. Kent County will attempt to improve on its 5-13 season record. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a 18-0 record after their 70-19 non-league win over Pocomoke (Pocomoke, MD).
