February 9, 2023: South St. Paul, MN 55075 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the South St. Paul Packers (South St. Paul, MN) and the visiting Simley Spartans (Inver Grove Heights, MN), saw South St. Paul's basketball squad overcome Simley by a tally of 53-39.
With the victory, South St. Paul improves its record to 6-15 on the campaign. The Packers travel to Harding (St. Paul, MN) to confront the Knights in a AAA Section 3 challenge on Saturday, February 11. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 10-7.
Next up, the Spartans confront the Hill-Murray Pioneers (Maplewood, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 15. Simley will attempt to improve on its 3-20 season record. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a 10-12 record after their 63-45 non-league loss to Alexandria (Alexandria, MN).
