February 9, 2023: Savannah, GA 31419 Savannah Country Day Hornets (Savannah, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Islands Sharks (Savannah, GA), 4-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Savannah Country Day upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Hornets travel to Liberty County (Hinesville, GA) to battle the Panthers in a non-league test on Thursday, February 16. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 2-0. Liberty County won 6-5 in their recent non-league test against McIntosh County Academy (Darien, GA)
With the defeat, Islands falls to 0-1 on the season. The Sharks host Benedictine (Savannah, GA) to battle the Cadets in a non-league test on Saturday, February 11. The Cadets come into the test with a record of 0-0.
