Arkansas High School Basketball - Arkadelphia overwhelms Ashdown
February 9, 2024: Ashdown, AR 71822 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Arkadelphia Badgers (Arkadelphia, AR) and the host Ashdown Panthers (Ashdown, AR), saw Arkadelphia's basketball squad wallop Ashdown by a tally of 62-26.
With the victory, Arkadelphia improves its record to 16-5 on the campaign. The Badgers travel to Nashville (Nashville, AR) to play the Scrappers in a 4A Region 7 challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Scrappers come into the challenge with a record of 12-7. Nashville won 52-29 in their recent league challenge against Hope (Hope, AR)
Next up, the Panthers play the Malvern Leopards (Malvern, AR) in a 4A Region 7 challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. Ashdown will attempt to improve on its 0-17 season record. The Leopards come into the challenge with a 6-12 record after their 59-40 league loss to Camden Fairview (Camden, AR).
