Illinois High School Basketball - Brimfield holds off Peoria Heights
February 9, 2024: Brimfield, IL 61517 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Brimfield Indians (Brimfield, IL) and the visiting Peoria Heights Patriots (Peoria Heights, IL), saw Brimfield's basketball squad hold off Peoria Heights by a tally of 50-45.
With the victory, Brimfield improves its record to 12-14 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Farmington (Farmington, IL) to confront the Farmers in a Prairieland challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Farmers come into the challenge with a record of 13-13. Farmington lost 60-59 in their recent non-league test against Peoria Christian (Peoria, IL)
The Patriots now own a 14-13 record. They play next when they host Elmwood for a Prairieland test on Tuesday, February 13.
