February 9, 2024: Independence, MO 64050 The Platte County Pirates (Platte City, MO) basketball felled the host Chrisman Bears (Independence, MO), 57-46 in Friday's non-league test.
The Pirates (12-8) will now prepare for their test against Belton (Belton, MO). The Pirates go into the non-league test with a 9-15 record. In their last test, Belton was beaten by Raymore-Peculiar (Peculiar, MO), 54-51, in a non-league test.
The Bears now own a 11-11 record. They play next when they host Raytown for a Suburban - White test on Tuesday, February 13. Chrisman will encounter a Bluejays squad coming off a 58-43 non-league win over Lafayette (St. Joseph, MO). The Bluejays record now stands at 14-7.
