Texas High School Basketball - Tornillo nudges Crane
February 9, 2024: Crane, TX 79731 Tornillo Coyotes (Tornillo, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Crane Cranes (Crane, TX), 55-50 in a league bout.
With the win, Tornillo upgrades its record to 4-14 on the season. The Coyotes host Stanton (Stanton, TX) to clash with the Buffaloes in a 3A Region I District 4 bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Buffaloes go into the bout with a record of 13-18. Stanton won 53-43 in their recent league bout against Crane (Crane, TX)
Next up, the Cranes clash with the Kermit Yellow Jackets (Kermit, TX) in a 3A Region I District 4 bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Crane will attempt to upgrade on its 3-20 season record. The Yellow Jackets go into the bout with a 17-13 record after their 57-30 league win over Compass Academy (Odessa, TX).
