Vermont High School Basketball - Danville overwhelms Northfield
February 9, 2024: Northfield, VT 05663 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Danville Bears (Danville, VT) and the host Northfield Marauders (Northfield, VT), saw Danville's basketball squad wallop Northfield by a count of 60-36.
With the victory, Danville upgrades its record to 14-4 on the campaign. The Bears host Oxbow (Bradford, VT) to play the Olympians in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 12. The Olympians come into the challenge with a record of 5-12. Oxbow lost 72-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Williamstown (Williamstown, VT)
Next up, the Marauders play the Winooski Spartans (Winooski, VT) in a Mountain challenge, on Monday, February 12. Northfield will attempt to upgrade on its 0-19 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 14-3 record after their 47-42 league win over Richford (Richford, VT).
