February 9, 2024: Country Club Hills, IL 60478 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings (Flossmoor, IL) and the host Hillcrest Hawks (Country Club Hills, IL), saw Homewood-Flossmoor's basketball squad knock off Hillcrest by a count of 71-52.
With the victory, Homewood-Flossmoor upgrades its record to 26-3 on the campaign. The Vikings host Bolingbrook (Bolingbrook, IL) to play the Raiders in a SouthWest Suburban - Blue challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 22-4. Bolingbrook won 69-54 in their recent league challenge against Lockport (Lockport, IL)
Next up, the Hawks play the Lincoln Park Lions (Chicago, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 15. Hillcrest will attempt to upgrade on its 16-12 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 19-9 record after their 74-61 non-league loss to Kenwood (Chicago, IL).
