The Speedway Sparkplugs basketball team (Speedway, IN), was nudged 56-53 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Indianapolis Metropolitan Pumas (Indianapolis, IN)

The Pumas now possess a 9-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Indianapolis Arsenal Technical for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 10. Indianapolis Metropolitan will confront a Titans team coming off a 44-40 league win over Lafayette Jefferson (Lafayette, IN). The Titans record now stands at 12-7.

The Sparkplugs (8-10) will now prepare for their battle against Bethesda Christian (Brownsburg, IN). The Patriots come into the non-league battle with a 13-7 record.
