North Carolina High School Basketball - Salisbury crushes Lexington

February 9, 2024: Salisbury, NC 28144

Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lexington Yellowjackets (Lexington, NC), 100-78 in a league bout.

With the win, Salisbury upgrades its record to 20-3 on the season. The Hornets travel to North Rowan (Spencer, NC) to clash with the Cavaliers in a 1A/2A Central Carolina bout on Friday, February 16. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 12-9.

Next up, the Yellowjackets clash with the North Rowan Cavaliers (Spencer, NC) in a 1A/2A Central Carolina bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Lexington will attempt to upgrade on its 12-9 season record. The Cavaliers go into the game with a 12-9 record after their 59-46 league win over West Davidson (Lexington, NC).
