Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT) and the host Ludlowe Falcons (Fairfield, CT), saw Staples's basketball squad hold off Ludlowe by a tally of 51-44.

With the victory, Staples improves its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Wreckers host Trumbull (Trumbull, CT) to confront the Eagles in a Fairfield County challenge on Monday, February 12. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 14-2. Trumbull won 90-74 in their recent league challenge against Norwalk (Norwalk, CT)

Next up, the Falcons confront the Stamford Black Knights (Stamford, CT) in a Fairfield County challenge, on Monday, February 12. Ludlowe will attempt to improve on its 11-5 season record. The Black Knights come into the challenge with a 12-4 record after their 45-39 league loss to Greenwich (Greenwich, CT).
